How It Works

One word. One action. One day at a time.

Each day has one focus word and one action. The steps build on each other — but each day stands alone. If no opportunity presents itself on a given day, reflect, prepare, and continue tomorrow.

Day 1
Notice

Pay attention to people God has placed in your path today.

Before you can reach someone, you have to see them. Today, slow down and notice — the coworker who seems discouraged, the neighbor you've never spoken to, the cashier who looks tired. God has already placed them in your path.

Matthew 9:36
Day 2
Start

Begin a natural conversation with a simple greeting or sincere question.

You don't need a perfect opening line. A genuine hello, a simple question, or a sincere compliment is enough. The goal today is to start — not to convert, not to explain the gospel. Just start.

Colossians 4:5–6
Day 3
Listen

Give the person room to speak. Listen to understand, not to fix.

Most people are not listened to. When you slow down and truly hear someone — their story, their burden, their joy — you become one of the most important people in their week. Today, listen more than you speak.

James 1:19
Day 4
Encourage

Offer sincere encouragement or practical help that fits the situation.

Encouragement is a bridge. When you build someone up, you earn the right to speak into their life. Today, look for one practical way to lift someone — a word, a kind act, an offer of help.

1 Thessalonians 5:11
Day 5
Pray

When appropriate, ask if you can pray for the person. Respect their answer.

Prayer moves mountains — and it also moves hearts. When someone shares a need, asking 'Can I pray for you right now?' is one of the most powerful things a Christian can do. Ask today. Respect whatever they say.

Philippians 4:6
Day 6
Invite

Make a clear, suitable invitation when it fits. Let the person respond freely.

An invitation is an act of love. It says: I see you, and I want you to experience what I've experienced. Today, look for one natural moment to invite someone — to church, to your small group, to a conversation about faith.

Luke 14:23
Day 7
Tell

Reflect on what you've learned. Share what God has done in your life when the moment is right.

Your testimony is one of the most powerful evangelism tools in the world. No one can argue with what God has done in your life. Today, be ready to simply tell your story — not a sermon, just your story.
