Dr. Folu Gisanri's journey in ministry began in Africa and has carried him across three continents. From his early years as a Bible teacher to his current work as a DCPI Master Trainer and Africa Initiative Director, his focus has never changed: ordinary believers reaching ordinary people with an extraordinary gospel.
He serves in church ministry at Living Word Christian Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota — a church where his passion for practical discipleship and community outreach is lived out every week. He also oversees church planting networks in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia, working directly with local leaders to establish and strengthen congregations.
As a DCPI (Dynamic Church Planting International) Master Trainer, Dr. Folu has trained leaders across Africa to plant churches that reach the unreached. His deep understanding of what it takes to grow a church from nothing has shaped his approach to discipleship and personal evangelism — and it shows on every page of Inspired to Tell.
Inspired to Tell is his first book — and it is the most practical distillation of everything he has learned about what it actually takes to close the gap between what Christians believe and what they do.
